Philippians 1:1-26
From the King James Version Bible, our passage for today: 1 Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in […]
Isaiah 57:15-21
From the King James Version Bible, our passage for today: 15 The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts. 16 For I will not fight against you forever; I will not always be angry. If I were, all people would pass away— all the souls I have made. 17 I was angry, so I punished these greedy people. I withdrew from […]
Changing our name… but not our mission
In September of 2011, we drew together to rename our Church. We ensured that we retained our commitment to the Lord, while making sure we better reflected our congregation and commitmennt to the Great Commission [Matthew 28:16-20]. For the past 10 years you have known us as The Community Bible Fellowship. We will continue to serve the Lord with our new name: The International Bible Christian Fellowship. Our location has not changed and we remain in Lynnwood, Washington. Please come by for a visit, we would love to see you on Sunday morning for our service at 10:30am!
Isaiah 58
From the New English Translation Bible, our passage for today: The Lord Desires Genuine Devotion 1 “Shout loudly! Don’t be quiet! Yell as loud as a trumpet! Confront my people with their rebellious deeds; confront Jacob’s family with their sin! 2 They seek me day after day; they want to know my requirements, like a nation that does what is right and does not reject the law of their God. They ask me for just decrees; they want to be near God. 3 They lament,t ‘Why don’t you notice when we fast? Why don’t you pay attention when we […]
Psalm 126
From the King James Version Bible, our passage for today: A Song of degrees. 1 When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.3 The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. 4 Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south.5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, […]
Psalm 147
From the King James Version Bible, our passage for today: 1 Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.2 The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.s6 The Lord lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.7 Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the […]
