Casino Road Ministries Christmas Party: Volunteers Needed!
This season the Youth and College/Career group is helping the Casino Road Ministries with their annual Christmas party. Volunteers can help in two ways:
Shopping Trip
We are going on a shopping trip to purchase Christmas gifts to be donated to CRM. The money raised during our “Taste of IBCF” event will be used for these purchases. The shopping trip will be on December 10th. We meet at church at 10 am.
Christmas Party
We will be joining CRM for their annual Christmas party on December 14. Please come by the event and lend a hand!
Anyone interested in shopping/volunteering for the party can contact chauthitran@gmail.com
About Casino Road Ministries
Casino Road Ministries (CRM) is a faith-based non-profit that serves children on Casino Road. CRM provides afterschool homework clubs to help children complete school work & develop leadership skills. During homework clubs, children receive help with school work by a staff/volunteer, help children develop healthy and caring relationships with mentors and other children, give children the opportunity to receive help and learn from musicians (volunteers) in order to grow and improve their musical talents and provide hot meals (pizza, soup, chili, casseroles) or a light snack. During the summer, children and families are invited on field trips to places such as local parks, barbeques, baseball games and other activities. Plus, we provide scholarships for students to attend summer camps and participate in sports leagues. (Source)
